How it drops

When the last enemy of a wave falls, a single loot roll occurs based on that enemy's level. If it lands on common, every gear slot with an eligible base has an equal chance of selection (Back has 7% of the chance of other slots), with the specific base chosen evenly from that slot. Simple Leather Belt can begin dropping at enemy level 1. Item level on Normal is 10 × (level − 1) through 10 × level + 9. In Nightmare and Inferno, enemies are consistently level 70, making item level 700 plus the map's level (× 2 on Inferno).
