FischFright 3 introduces six limited-time Halloween rods in Roblox Fisch, each with different stats and abilities. Some rods can be obtained by completing quests around Caustic Hallow, while others require players to finish special rituals and collect rare items.

Getting all six rods can take some time because several quests involve rare fish, mutated items, and hidden event mechanics. This guide explains how to unlock the Boglin Branch, Eldritch, Webweaver, Doomsekkar, Dutchman’s Rod, and Omniscient Spinecaster, including their stats and passive abilities.

During FischFright 3, six new rods become available, each obtained through different game mechanics. Four rods are tied to NPC questlines or event milestones, while the Dutchman’s Rod and Omniscient Spinecaster demand completion of complex rituals.

Here’s a breakdown of what it takes to earn each Halloween rod:

  • Boglin Branch: Finish the Youngster Goblin questline.
  • Eldritch Rod: Reach Hex Energy Level 11 by offering ingredients to Beatrix’s cauldron.
  • Webweaver Rod: Complete Webby Winston’s three quests and buy the rod using Treats.
  • Doomsekkar Rod: Complete Doomsekkar’s fishing and haunted spirit challenges.
  • Dutchman’s Rod: Complete the Dutchman’s Blessing Ritual.
  • Omniscient Spinecaster: Complete the challenging Omniscient Ritual.

Here is a quick overview of all six rods:

  • Boglin Branch: Complete the Youngster Goblin questline.

  • Eldritch Rod: Reach Hex Energy Level 11 by offering ingredients to Beatrix’s cauldron.

  • Webweaver Rod: Complete Webby Winston’s three quests and purchase the rod with Treats.

  • Doomsekkar Rod: Complete Doomsekkar’s fishing and haunted spirit challenges.

  • Dutchman’s Rod: Complete the Dutchman’s Blessing Ritual.

  • Omniscient Spinecaster: Complete the Omniscient Ritual, the final and most challenging rod unlock.

To get the Boglin Branch , start by locating the Youngster Goblin near Beatrix's Cauldron in Caustic Hallow. The questline consists of several objectives, including completing Goblin Challenges on Normal difficulty or higher and collecting rare Boglin items. Ensure you fulfill all five objectives to unlock the rod: Complete three Goblin Challenges on Normal difficulty or greater (Easy Goblins with green outlines don't count). Deliver 10 Witch’s Ingredients to the Youngster Goblin. Obtain a Boglin Skull (rare drop). Collect a Boglin Twig (sometimes referred to as a Boglin Fang). Acquire one set of Boglin Wraps. After completing the challenge requirements, you can farm Goblin Challenges at any difficulty for the rare drops needed. These drops are uncommon, so persistence is key.

The Boglin Branch is obtained by completing the Youngster Goblin questline near Beatrix’s Cauldron in Caustic Hallow. Speak to the Youngster Goblin to start the quest and check your objectives. You must complete several challenges and collect three special Boglin items before the rod becomes available.

The quest requires you to complete five objectives:

  1. Complete three Goblin Challenges on Normal difficulty or higher. Easy Goblins with green outlines do not count toward this objective.

  2. Give the Youngster Goblin 10 Witch’s Ingredients of any type.

  3. Obtain one Boglin Skull.

  4. Obtain one Boglin Twig. Some quest text may refer to this item as a Boglin Fang.

  5. Obtain one set of Boglin Wraps.

Once you have completed the three required Normal-or-higher challenges, you can farm Goblin Challenges at any difficulty to collect the remaining items. Even Easy Goblins can drop the Boglin parts after the challenge requirement is fulfilled.

Keep in mind that the Boglin Skull, Boglin Twig, and Boglin Wraps are rare drops. You may need to complete several rounds before obtaining all three items, so keep farming until the quest tracker confirms your progress.

The Boglin Branch excels in Luck and has a solid Lure Speed, making it highly practical for chasing rare fish during the event. It supports fish weighing up to 550,000 kg, which is substantial for most players. Lure Speed: 80% Luck: 180% Control: 0.05 Resilience: 20% Max Weight: 550,000 kg

The Boglin Branch offers a strong Luck stat and decent Lure Speed, making it a useful option for players who want to catch rare fish during the event. Its maximum weight capacity is also high enough to handle fish weighing up to 550,000 kg.

  • Lure Speed: 80%

  • Luck: 180%

  • Control: 0.05

  • Resilience: 20%

  • Max Kg: 550,000 kg

The Eldritch Rod is tied to Beatrix the Witch’s cauldron in Caustic Hallow. You’ll want to gather Witch’s Ingredients—the same items used in the Boglin Branch quest—to progress. Offering these ingredients to Beatrix’s cauldron builds Hex Energy incrementally. Reach Hex Energy Level 11 to unlock this rod. Interact with the cauldron and either offer ingredients one by one or all at once. The game will notify you about your Hex Energy gains as you advance. Rewards beyond the Eldritch Rod include Witch’s Pot furniture, the Coffin Bobber, and Black Licorice.

The Eldritch Rod is unlocked through Beatrix the Witch’s cauldron in Caustic Hallow. This rod uses the same Witch’s Ingredients needed for the Boglin Branch quest, so collecting ingredients for both objectives at the same time can save you some farming time.

To begin, find Beatrix near her tree and approach her cauldron. Interact with it and select either “Offer Ingredient” or “Offer All Ingredients.” Every ingredient you offer adds one Hex Energy, and the game displays a message confirming the amount gained.

Continue offering ingredients until you reach Hex Energy Level 11. Once you meet the requirement, claim the Eldritch Rod from Beatrix. You will also receive other rewards as you progress through the Hex Energy levels, including Witch’s Pot furniture, the Coffin Bobber, and Black Licorice.

The Webweaver Rod is linked to Webby Winston, found inside Webridden Cavern below Caustic Hallow. Before purchasing the rod, you must complete three intertwined quests: Trick-or-treat at 16 unique houses wearing the Candy Bucket (no repeats count). Catch 15 Cobweb Cod inside the cavern’s green waters. Catch 10 fish afflicted by the Webbed mutation within Webridden Cavern. Upon completion, Webby rewards you with 1,000 Treats, which you must then spend to buy the Webweaver Rod. Make sure you save those Treats from other spending.

The Webweaver Rod is obtained through Webby Winston, an NPC who lives inside Webridden Cavern beneath Caustic Hallow. You must complete three quests before you can purchase the rod, but the good news is that all three objectives can be worked on simultaneously.

Here are the requirements:

  1. Trick-or-treat at 16 different houses while equipping the Candy Bucket. Visiting the same house multiple times will not count.

  2. Catch 15 Cobweb Cod in the cavern’s green water.

  3. Catch 10 fish with the Webbed mutation inside Webridden Cavern.

After completing all three quests, Webby Winston rewards you with 1,000 Treats. You can then use those Treats to purchase the Webweaver Rod from him for exactly 1,000 Treats.

This means you can obtain the rod without spending extra Treats from your existing balance, provided you save the entire quest reward. Make sure you do not spend those Treats on other event items before buying the rod.

Webweaver Rod Stats and Passive

This rod delivers high Luck and a remarkable 125% Lure Speed. It also has a special Spider Web passive: every 10 seconds spiders appear and grant nearby fish the Webbed mutation — perfect for mutation hunting.

  • Lure Speed: 125%
  • Luck: 250%
  • Control: 0.03
  • Resilience: 10%
  • Max Weight: Infinite

Passive — Spider Web: Periodic spiders give fish the Webbed mutation while you fish.

  • Max Kg: Infinite

Passive — Spider Web: Spiders appear while fishing approximately every 10 seconds and give nearby fish the Webbed mutation.

The Doomsekkar Rod is obtained through Doomsekkar's questline by Caustic Hallow's Halloween graveyard. You'll need to catch 100 fish from temporary Frightful Pools, land 50 Perfect Catches, and capture a haunted spirit during a special event. Frightful Pools can be spawned by purchasing a Frightful Pool Totem from the Flying Dutchman for 3,000 Treats. Since catching fish and Perfect Catches can be done simultaneously in the Frightful Pools, focus there to make the grind more efficient.

The Doomsekkar Rod is unlocked by completing Doomsekkar’s questline near the Halloween graveyard, along the path outside Webridden Cavern. This quest requires you to catch fish, achieve Perfect Catches, and capture a haunted spirit during a special event encounter.

You need to complete the following three objectives:

  1. Catch 100 fish from Frightful Pools. These are temporary glowing fishing pools that appear around the ocean during FischFright 3. You can purchase a Frightful Pool Totem from the Flying Dutchman for 3,000 Treats to force one to spawn.

  2. Land 50 Perfect Catches while fishing.

  3. Capture the haunted spirit inside the correct haunted house in Caustic Hallow.

The first two objectives can be completed at the same time, so keep fishing in Frightful Pools while aiming for Perfect Catches to make progress toward both requirements.

How to Capture the Haunted Spirit

Capturing the haunted spirit is a unique challenge triggered by a server notification pinpointing the haunted house. Approach the glowing green numbered house with your Candy Bucket equipped, knock, and keep your cursor steady on the ghost to complete the capture. You'll then be teleported to a special area where you can exit using your Magic Mirror.

Follow these steps to capture the spirit:

  1. Equip your Candy Bucket before approaching the haunted house.

  2. Knock on the door and select either available dialogue option.

  3. Keep your cursor on the ghost until the capture process is complete.

  4. Once the spirit is captured, you will be teleported to a special area.

  5. Use your Magic Mirror to leave the area and return to the main game.

After finishing all tasks, return to Doomsekkar to claim the rod and receive 3,000 Treats—an excellent boost for other event activities.

Doomsekkar Rod Stats and Passive

The Doomsekkar Rod packs an impressive 275% Luck and 100% Lure Speed with an infinite catch weight. However, its Resilience stat is a harsh -666%, a real penalty that makes the rod riskier for tough catches. The rod’s passive, Pumpkin Bombs, aids fishing progress by spawning bombs that increase Progress Speed when fish approach and can apply the Doomsekkar mutation.

  • Lure Speed: 100%
  • Luck: 275%
  • Control: 0.1
  • Resilience: -666%
  • Max Weight: Infinite

Passive — Pumpkin Bombs: Pumpkin bombs spawn during fishing, boosting progress and can mutate fish.
