FischFright 3 introduces six limited-time Halloween rods in Roblox Fisch, each with different stats and abilities. Some rods can be obtained by completing quests around Caustic Hallow, while others require players to finish special rituals and collect rare items.

Getting all six rods can take some time because several quests involve rare fish, mutated items, and hidden event mechanics. This guide explains how to unlock the Boglin Branch, Eldritch, Webweaver, Doomsekkar, Dutchman’s Rod, and Omniscient Spinecaster, including their stats and passive abilities.

FischFright 3 rolls out six distinct rods, each unlocked through a different method. While four come from completing quests or event milestones, the others ask for ritual completions. Knowing where and how to pursue each makes your hunt smoother.

There are six new rods available during FischFright 3, and each one has a different unlock requirement. Four rods come from NPC quests or event progression, while the Dutchman’s Rod and Omniscient Spinecaster require players to complete rituals.

Here is a quick overview of all six rods:

  • Boglin Branch: Finish the Youngster Goblin questline.
  • Eldritch Rod: Raise your Hex Energy level to 11 through Beatrix's ingredient offerings.
  • Webweaver Rod: Complete Webby Winston's three quests, then buy the rod with Treats.
  • Doomsekkar Rod: Accomplish Doomsekkar's fishing and spirit capturing challenges.
  • Dutchman’s Rod: Complete the Dutchman’s Blessing Ritual.
  • Omniscient Spinecaster: Finish the Omniscient Ritual, the toughest unlock.

The Boglin Branch is your first stop, earned by working through the Youngster Goblin’s quest. Found near Beatrix’s Cauldron, this quest demands several challenges and collecting three rare Boglin items. Starting here sets a solid foundation for your rod collection.

The Boglin Branch is obtained by completing the Youngster Goblin questline near Beatrix’s Cauldron in Caustic Hallow. Speak to the Youngster Goblin to start the quest and check your objectives. You must complete several challenges and collect three special Boglin items before the rod becomes available.

The quest’s objectives include:

  1. Complete three Goblin Challenges on Normal difficulty or above; green-outlined easy challenges don't count.
  2. Hand over 10 Witch’s Ingredients to the Youngster Goblin.
  3. Secure one Boglin Skull.
  4. Acquire a Boglin Twig (sometimes called Boglin Fang).
  5. Collect one set of Boglin Wraps.
  1. Complete three Goblin Challenges on Normal difficulty or higher. Easy Goblins with green outlines do not count toward this objective.

  2. Give the Youngster Goblin 10 Witch’s Ingredients of any type.

  3. Obtain one Boglin Skull.

  4. Obtain one Boglin Twig. Some quest text may refer to this item as a Boglin Fang.

  5. Obtain one set of Boglin Wraps.

Once you clear the three Normal-or-higher challenges, you can farm Goblin challenges of any difficulty to gather the Boglin items. The Skull, Twig, and Wraps are all rare drops, so be ready for a bit of grinding before checking off this list.

Keep in mind that the Boglin Skull, Boglin Twig, and Boglin Wraps are rare drops. You may need to complete several rounds before obtaining all three items, so keep farming until the quest tracker confirms your progress.

The Boglin Branch shines with a high Luck stat and solid Lure Speed, making it particularly helpful for catching rare fish during the event. Its weight capacity also supports catching larger specimens, climbing up to 550,000 kg.

The Boglin Branch offers a strong Luck stat and decent Lure Speed, making it a useful option for players who want to catch rare fish during the event. Its maximum weight capacity is also high enough to handle fish weighing up to 550,000 kg.

  • Lure Speed: 80%
  • Luck: 180%
  • Control: 0.05
  • Resilience: 20%
  • Max Kg: 550,000 kg

The Eldritch Rod comes from interacting with Beatrix’s cauldron. Offering Witch’s Ingredients here not only counts toward this rod’s unlock but also overlaps with the Boglin Branch quest, so gathering ingredients efficiently will help you on both fronts.

The Eldritch Rod is unlocked through Beatrix the Witch’s cauldron in Caustic Hallow. This rod uses the same Witch’s Ingredients needed for the Boglin Branch quest, so collecting ingredients for both objectives at the same time can save you some farming time.

Approach Beatrix’s cauldron to offer ingredients one by one or all at once, increasing your Hex Energy each time. Aim for Hex Energy Level 11 to claim the Eldritch Rod and earn other event rewards like Witch’s Pot furniture and the Coffin Bobber along the way.

Continue offering ingredients until you reach Hex Energy Level 11. Once you meet the requirement, claim the Eldritch Rod from Beatrix. You will also receive other rewards as you progress through the Hex Energy levels, including Witch’s Pot furniture, the Coffin Bobber, and Black Licorice.

Eldritch Rod Stats

The Eldritch Rod stands out with excellent Luck and Lure Speed, plus an infinite weight capacity that lets you haul in any fish without limits. It’s a top pick if you want efficiency without restrictions.

  • Lure Speed: 90%
  • Luck: 230%
  • Control: 0.05
  • Resilience: 15%
  • Max Kg: Infinite

To nab the Webweaver Rod, visit Webby Winston inside Webridden Cavern below Caustic Hallow. Three quests must be fulfilled beforehand, but you can progress across all simultaneously, which is a nice efficiency boost.

The Webweaver Rod is obtained through Webby Winston, an NPC who lives inside Webridden Cavern beneath Caustic Hallow. You must complete three quests before you can purchase the rod, but the good news is that all three objectives can be worked on simultaneously.

Here are the requirements:

  1. Trick-or-treat at 16 unique houses while carrying the Candy Bucket. Repeat visits to the same house won’t count.
  2. Catch 15 Cobweb Cod in the cavern’s green waters.
  3. Land 10 fish with the Webbed mutation within Webridden Cavern.

Completing all three earns you 1,000 Treats, which you’ll need to spend directly on the Webweaver Rod. Don’t dip into your Treat stash beforehand—you’ll want exactly 1,000 saved up to make this happen.

This means you can obtain the rod without spending extra Treats from your existing balance, provided you save the entire quest reward. Make sure you do not spend those Treats on other event items before buying the rod.

Webweaver Rod Stats and Passive

With a stat lineup featuring 125% Lure Speed and 250% Luck, plus the Spider Web passive ability that summons spiders every 10 seconds to grant nearby fish the Webbed mutation, the Webweaver is your go-to for targeting that elusive Webbed catch.

  • Lure Speed: 125%
  • Luck: 250%
  • Control: 0.03
  • Resilience: 10%
  • Max Kg: Infinite

Passive — Spider Web: Small spiders appear roughly every 10 seconds during fishing, granting the Webbed mutation to fish nearby, boosting your chances to catch mutated fish.

The Doomsekkar Rod unlocks after completing a challenging questline near the Halloween graveyard outside Webridden Cavern. It blends fishing skill and a spooky twist, demanding Perfect Catches and spirit capturing during special event spawns.

The Doomsekkar Rod is unlocked by completing Doomsekkar’s questline near the Halloween graveyard, along the path outside Webridden Cavern. This quest requires you to catch fish, achieve Perfect Catches, and capture a haunted spirit during a special event encounter.
  1. Catch 100 fish from the glowing Frightful Pools that appear around the ocean. You can summon a Frightful Pool using a Totem offered by the Flying Dutchman for 3,000 Treats.
  2. Land 50 Perfect Catches to rack up your fishing prowess.
  3. Capture a haunted spirit from the designated haunted house in Caustic Hallow.
  1. Catch 100 fish from Frightful Pools. These are temporary glowing fishing pools that appear around the ocean during FischFright 3. You can purchase a Frightful Pool Totem from the Flying Dutchman for 3,000 Treats to force one to spawn.

  2. Land 50 Perfect Catches while fishing.

  3. Capture the haunted spirit inside the correct haunted house in Caustic Hallow.

The first two can be tackled together—just fish in Frightful Pools for both quantity and perfect catches. This combo helps maximize your time while ticking off multiple goals.

How to Capture the Haunted Spirit

When the server announces a haunted house’s appearance, locate the one glowing with a green number. Equip your Candy Bucket, knock on its door, and select any dialogue option to engage.

Stay focused on the ghost as it appears and maintain your cursor on it until the capture finishes. Afterward, you’ll teleport to a special area where you can use your Magic Mirror to return to the main game.

  1. Equip your Candy Bucket before approaching the haunted house.

  2. Knock on the door and select either available dialogue option.

  3. Keep your cursor on the ghost until the capture process is complete.

  4. Once the spirit is captured, you will be teleported to a special area.

  5. Use your Magic Mirror to leave the area and return to the main game.

Return to Doomsekkar once all objectives are met to claim your rod and an extra 3,000 Treats. It’s a rewarding finale to this grind-heavy route.

Doomsekkar Rod Stats and Passive

The Doomsekkar Rod boasts impressive Luck at 275% and a full 100% Lure Speed, all while offering infinite weight capacity. But beware: it comes with a hefty -666% Resilience, making fish fights more fragile and tricky. It’s a risk/reward pick that can backfire if you’re not prepared.

  • Lure Speed: 100%
  • Luck: 275%
  • Control: 0.1
  • Resilience: -666%
  • Max Kg: Infinite

Passive — Pumpkin Bombs: During fishing, small pumpkin bombs spawn intermittently. When fish approach these bombs, your Progress Speed increases. The passive may also imprint the Doomsekkar mutation onto caught fish, adding an extra layer of strategy to your angling.
