Nessie is one of the rarest fish families in Roblox Fisch, and the FischFright 3 event introduces three special variants for players to catch. These include Plush Nessie, Zombie Nessie, and Ghoul Nessie. Each variant has its own requirements, so you cannot obtain all three by simply fishing in the same location.

Plush Nessie is the easiest to get because you can obtain it through Trick or Treating or fishing in a Frightpool. Meanwhile, Zombie Nessie and Ghoul Nessie require players to activate special rituals at the Cemetery and meet several conditions before their fishing pools become available. Here is how to get all three Nessie variants in FischFright 3.

Plush Nessie is your best starting point in FischFright 3, offering two straightforward ways to add this rare fish to your collection. Whether you’re Trick or Treating around Caustic Hallow or fishing in one of the spooky Frightpools, Plush Nessie is accessible without heavy ritual requirements.

Plush Nessie is the easiest variant to obtain during FischFright 3 because there are two ways to get it. You can either participate in the Trick or Treat event around Caustic Hallow or catch it by fishing in a Frightpool. Both methods are available during the event, but Trick or Treating is a good option if you have a high-tier mask.

One of the easiest methods to get Plush Nessie is by participating in Trick or Treating:

Boost your chances by equipping a high-tier mask from the Dutchman Merchant NPC aboard the Flying Dutchman ship roaming Caustic Hallow. These masks increase rare reward odds when Trick or Treating.

The recommended masks to invest in are:

  • Leviathan Mask: Costs 10 Treats
  • Mossjaw Mask: Costs 1,500 Treats

After gearing up, visit houses on the island to Trick or Treat. Persistence is key because Plush Nessie is a rare drop and may take multiple attempts before it finally appears.

Keep visiting houses until you obtain the fish. Since it is a rare reward, you might need several attempts before it appears.

If you prefer to fish, Plush Nessie can appear in any Frightpool during the autumn season. To maximize your chances, use the right bait and conditions:

If you prefer fishing, you can try catching Plush Nessie in any Frightpool during FischFright 3. However, you need to use the correct bait and season to meet its preferred fishing conditions.

  • Location: Any Frightpool
  • Weather: None
  • Time: Any
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy
  • Location: Any Frightpool
  • Weather: None
  • Time: Any time
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy

Make sure you have Sour Jelly Candy before starting. While this method gives you another way to obtain Plush Nessie, you may find Trick or Treating more convenient if you already own a high-tier mask.

How to Get Zombie Nessie in FischFright 3

Zombie Nessie takes a more involved approach requiring activation of the Haunted Cemetery Ritual. You can’t just fish for it freely; unlocking the ritual involves gathering items and completing several preceding quests.

Requirements for the Haunted Cemetery Ritual

Before kicking off the ritual, you'll need to have done one Enhanced Boglin Ritual and completed the progression of earlier rituals including Hexed, Scary Relic, Haunted, Jack-o-Moon, Boglin, Dutchman's Blessing, and Enhanced Boglin Rituals.

Key requirements include:

  • One completed Enhanced Boglin Ritual
  • 2 Hex Stage
  • 4 Awakened Skeletal Hands

You'll need the following Jack-o-Lantern items:

  • 1 Dirty Candy Corn
  • 1 Crushed Bone
  • 1 Strange Root
  • 1 Giant Mushroom
  • 1 Spider Eye
  • 1 Bat Wing
  • 1 Raven Feather

And the Skeletal Hands fish requirements:

  • 1 Grim Skull
  • 1 Vile Skull
  • 1 Doomed Skull
  • 1 Dobhar

With all items collected and prior rituals done, activate the Haunted Cemetery Ritual at the Cemetery Ground. This transports you to the Haunted Cemetery, opening access to spawn the Zombie Nessie fishing pool.

Once there, search for Haunted Bones and deposit 15 total into the Haunted Cauldron in the area’s center. Teaming up with friends here can speed up the contribution process.

After arriving at the Haunted Cemetery, search the area for Haunted Bones. Collect these items and deposit them into the Haunted Cauldron located in the center of the area.

You need to contribute a total of 15 Haunted Bones to the cauldron with your friends or other players. Once the requirement is met, a fishing pool will appear, allowing you to try catching Zombie Nessie.

The ideal fishing conditions for Zombie Nessie are:

  • Location: Haunted Cemetery Pool
  • Weather: Jack-o-Moon
  • Time: Night
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Black Licorice

For consistent Jack-o-Moon weather, consider buying a Jack-o-Moon Totem from the Dutchman Merchant for 15,000 Treats. Keep fishing patiently, as the spawn rate for Zombie Nessie can be stubborn.

Remember that spawning the pool does not guarantee an immediate catch. Keep fishing with Black Licorice and make sure the weather, time, and season match the requirements.

How to Get Ghoul Nessie in FischFright 3

Ghoul Nessie is the toughest Nessie variant, demanding both ritual preparation and rare item collection. While the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event can provide an alternative chance, it only occurs weekly, making the ritual method more reliable for active hunters.

Since the Admin Event only runs once a week, preparing for the ritual is a more practical option if you want to actively pursue Ghoul Nessie.

Requirements for the Ghoul Nessie Ritual

You'll need to complete one Omniscient Ritual and gather various rare materials along the way. Like Zombie Nessie, Ghoul Nessie demands full progression through previous rituals.

Prepare the following items:

  • One Omniscient Ritual completed
  • 2 Hex Stage
  • 5 Awakened Skeletal Hands

Jack-o-Lantern items:

  • 1 Dirty Candy Corn
  • 1 Crushed Bone
  • 1 Strange Root
  • 1 Giant Mushroom
  • 1 Spider Eye
  • 1 Bat Wing
  • 1 Raven Feather

Destroyed Jack-o-Lantern requirements:

  • 3 Dark Art Skull items

Skeletal Hands fish requirements:

  • 1 Grim Skull
  • 1 Vile Skull
  • 1 Doomed Skull
  • 1 Eldritch Skull
  • 1 Omniscient-mutated Dobhar

It's wise to gather everything upfront before going to the Cemetery, so you don’t waste time fetching missing items mid-ritual.

How to Catch Ghoul Nessie

Activate the Ghoul Nessie Ritual at the Cemetery once ready, unlocking access to the Haunted Cemetery's pool.

Ghoul Nessie thrives in similar conditions to Zombie Nessie but requires Sour Jelly Candy as bait instead of Black Licorice. The preferred setup is:

  • Location: Haunted Cemetery Pool
  • Weather: Jack-o-Moon
  • Time: Night
  • Season: Autumn
  • Bait: Sour Jelly Candy

Purchasing a Jack-o-Lantern Totem can also help trigger the right weather for Ghoul Nessie. If the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event runs on your server, it provides a rare but convenient chance to fish for Ghoul Nessie without rituals.

If the Spooky Cemetery Admin Event becomes available in your server, you can also use that opportunity to pursue Ghoul Nessie without relying entirely on the ritual route.

Plush Nessie vs. Zombie Nessie vs. Ghoul Nessie

In summary:

  • Plush Nessie is accessible through Trick or Treating with a high-tier mask or fishing in any Frightpool during autumn using Sour Jelly Candy.
  • Zombie Nessie demands unlocking a special ritual, contributing Haunted Bones, and fishing at night during Jack-o-Moon weather using Black Licorice.
  • Ghoul Nessie requires completing a complex Omniscient Ritual, gathering rare items, and fishing under precise conditions with Sour Jelly Candy.

Starting with Plush Nessie is the practical choice for newcomers, while advanced players can chase down Zombie and Ghoul Nessie through dedicated ritual challenges. Each variant offers a unique fishing experience within FischFright 3’s spooky waters.
