Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Alternate Colors Guide

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls keeps its roster fresh by offering alternate colors instead of extensive costume changes. These variations add a splash of personality and often nod to other signature color schemes familiar to fans. Starting out, you'll only have access to a handful of color options, but playing through different parts of the game gradually opens up more choices, enhancing your visual customization as you progress.

How to Unlock Alternate Colors in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls

Currently, the game ties alternate color unlocks directly to its main gameplay modes. While every character begins with four colors, there are actually nine total available. Colors 4 through 8 must be unlocked by completing specific tasks or modes, and color 9 is reserved exclusively for players who own the Ultimate Edition.

Here's what it takes to unlock each additional color beyond the base set:

ColorUnlock Method
Color 5Complete a team’s Episode Mode to unlock this color for every character on that team
Color 6Win 10 Online Casual Matches to unlock this color for the entire roster
Color 7Win 100 fights in Survival Mode
Color 8Complete all Action Checks and Combo Challenges in Character Lesson Mode for each character
Color 9Purchase the Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Ultimate Edition

The Champion is a special case since he doesn't have his own Episode Mode, being the boss unlocked by beating those modes. To gain access to his Color 5, you’ll need to complete every team’s Episode Mode. Other unlocks for him follow the same rules as the rest of the roster.
