Exploring the Hospital in The Sinking City 2 reveals a bizarre moment in the Wireless Room where three disembodied brains in jars ask for your help to input the correct frequency on their equipment. This odd puzzle isn’t just a quirky encounter; solving it unlocks key story elements about the flood devastating Arkham. It’s a brain teaser that mixes cryptic clues and deception, requiring careful attention to decipher the truth behind their conflicting advice.

Wireless Room Brain Puzzle Solution

Inside the Wireless Room, each brain provides conflicting information about the frequencies you need to input. Wright claims that Pence is lying, Dunwich accuses Wright of lying, while Pence admits he is only partially correct. Sorting through their statements is crucial to cracking the code.

“The Secondary frequency is higher than the primary. The primary? Well above 20 Hz. And whatever you do, don’t believe a word Pence says.”

“The primary frequency is between 10 and 20 Hz, and some say it brings bad luck – especially on Fridays. The tertiary? It’s exactly double the sum of the first two. Oh, and Dunwich… he is half-correct.”

“Round the primary frequency to the nearest ten, cut it in half, and you have got the secondary. The tertiary must be under 30 Hz. As for Wright – he’s always wrong!”

Knowing Wright is completely untrustworthy means you can eliminate everything he says. Pence hints the primary frequency is a number associated with bad luck on Fridays, while Dunwich gives a formula for calculating the secondary frequency based on the primary. Pence also mentions the tertiary frequency is double the sum of the first two frequencies.

Putting these clues together leads to the three correct frequencies to enter:

  1. 13
  2. 5
  3. 36

Entering these numbers will trigger a cutscene showing the brains attempting to analyze the flood’s mysterious origin, and you’ll also receive a Dream Essence as a reward for solving the puzzle.
