Palworld Partner Skills Guide - Best Party Synergies

TheGamesEdgeJuly 30, 20263 min read

In Palworld, assembling the right roster of Pals isn’t just about raw stats but about unlocking powerful Partner Skills that can redefine your combat performance. These passive abilities often provide significant advantages, like boosting attacks or enhancing status effects, that outpace simple damage output. Understanding and leveraging these skills can turn your team into an unstoppable force, especially when elemental synergies come into play.

One detail that initially confuses many players is the "Does not stack" note on some Partner Skills. At first glance, it suggests that you can only benefit from one instance of that skill. However, the game allows stacking effects from different Pals even if each says it doesn't stack individually. This nuance expands your options for party composition, letting you combine multiple partners with similar skills without redundancy.

Take the example of Cremis and Ribbuny, both of which enhance the Attack of Neutral Pals. Despite each indicating its bonus "does not stack," using both together yields cumulative benefits since the game treats them as distinct sources. You'll find the same applies to elemental variants like Vanwyrm and Vanwyrm Cryst, allowing for creative elemental team builds that maximize damage and utility.

Recognizing this mechanic opens a new dimension for optimizing your party, whether you're focusing on an element like Fire or Water, or concentrating on specific debuffs and damage types. It encourages experimenting with combinations that you might have overlooked, revealing some of the most potent and surprising setups in Palworld.

Palworld All Partner Skills List

Neutral Partner Skills

Neutral Pals might not dazzle with flashy elemental effects, but their Partner Skills excel at boosting team-wide stats. Instead of honing in on one combat mechanic, they provide solid passive bonuses that enhance overall performance and versatility in fights.

Ribbuny increases the Attack of all Neutral Pals in your party by between 15% and 30% . Importantly, having more than one Ribbuny won't compound the effect, but synergistic combinations with other Neutral attackers remain viable. At your base, Ribbuny also improves each Pal’s Handiwork Work Suitability by one level, accelerating crafting tasks.

Ribbuny increases the Attack of all Neutral Pals in your party by 15% to 30%. Another Ribbuny won’t provide an additional bonus, but other Neutral Attack buffers can still work alongside it.

At your base, Ribbuny also raises every other Pal’s Handiwork Work Suitability by 1 level, which speeds up crafting.

Cremis mirrors Ribbuny’s attack buff, offering another 15% to 30% boost to Neutral Pals’ Attack. Because Cremis and Ribbuny are unique Pals, their bonuses stack, making a Neutral-focused team notably stronger. Additionally, Cremis can produce Wool when assigned to your Ranch, adding utility beyond combat.

Cremis gives a 15% to 30% Neutral Attack bonus, just like Ribbuny.

The important part is that Cremis and Ribbuny stack together because they are different Pals. If you’re building a Neutral team, this is one of the easiest ways to increase your damage.

When assigned to a Ranch, Cremis also produces Wool.

Sibelyx Primo

Sibelyx Primo bolsters defense over offense, increasing the Defense of Neutral Pals by 15% to 30%. When working at a Ranch, Sibelyx Primo also generates valuable High Quality Cloth.

It raises the Defense of Neutral Pals by 15% to 30% and can produce High Quality Cloth while working at a Ranch.

Starryon Primo

Starryon Primo is a favored ground mount that enhances mobility. It boosts jump height when mounted and increases Movement Speed by 5% to 25% for each additional Neutral Pal in your party — but stacking with another Starryon Primo is excluded.

It boosts your jump height while mounted, and its Movement Speed increases by 5% to 25% for every other Neutral Pal in your party. The bonus doesn’t count another Starryon Primo.

Celesdir

Celesdir offers versatile benefits as a Neutral flying mount. Its Attack and Movement Speed rise by 2% to 6% per extra Neutral Pal in your group, while also providing health regeneration of 0.15% to 0.75% every second to you and nearby allies. Though the healing does not compound with multiple Celesdirs, it still contributes significantly during exploration.

Every extra Neutral Pal in your team raises its Attack and Movement Speed by 2% to 6%. It also restores 0.15% to 0.75% Health every second for you and your party.

The healing effect doesn’t stack with another Celesdir, but it’s still a nice bonus while exploring.

Selyne is a flying mount that distinctly enhances attack damage. While mounted, it grants a 15% to 30% increase to both Neutral and Dark attack damage, ideal for hybrid elemental teams.

Kelpsea Ignis

Kelpsea Ignis enhances the Attack of Fire Pals by 15% to 30%. This Pal also produces Flame Organs when stationed at a Ranch to support your crafting needs.

Ragnahawk

Ragnahawk is a flying mount that offers the same Fire conversion and attack boost of 5% to 20%, perfect for players favoring aerial combat.

While mounted, all your attacks turn into Fire attacks and receive a 5% to 20% Attack boost.

Wixen

Wixen remains a standout Fire Partner Skill for builds centered on the player rather than the Pal. Activating its ability instantly converts your attacks to Fire damage and boosts Attack by a significant 30% to 50%, especially powerful if your main damage comes from guns or melee weapons.

Instead of riding it, you activate its Partner Skill. Your attacks immediately become Fire attacks, and your Attack rises significantly by 30% to 50%. That bonus feels especially powerful if most of your damage comes from guns or melee weapons rather than your active Pal.

Renjishi

Renjishi initiates the Burn combo by applying Burn (2 to 6) on every attack. This status sets up powerful Fire effects from your team.

Every attack applies Burn (2 to 6), giving your Fire team something to build on.

Majex

Majex enriches this effect by generating persistent flames around targets already burning, dealing damage equal to 15% to 30% of your own Attack to nearby foes. The effect does not stack but excels at clearing groups.

Every hit creates flames around the target that continuously damage nearby enemies for 15% to 30% of your own Attack. The effect doesn’t stack, but it clears groups surprisingly quickly.

Jormuntide Ignis

Jormuntide Ignis is a powerhouse for Burn teams—granting immunity to lava damage and increasing all damage against Burning enemies by 50% to 65%. This skill significantly shortens boss fights when timed with status application.

It makes you immune to lava damage and increases all damage against Burning enemies by 50% to 65%. Once Burn is active, boss fights end much faster.

Flaracle

Flaracle extends the Burn synergy by triggering explosions on attacks against Burning enemies, dealing an additional 40% to 60% of your Attack to surrounding foes. It’s particularly devastating in large enemy encounters.

Attacking a Burning enemy causes an explosion that deals 40% to 60% of your Attack damage to nearby enemies. Large enemy groups rarely survive when Burn starts spreading.

Ghangler Ignis

Ghangler Ignis is unique in that it moves across water and scales its Movement Speed by 5% to 25% for every Fire or Water Pal in your party, fitting mixed elemental teams perfectly.

Fire Team Synergy

To maximize a Burn-focused team, start by applying Burn status with Renjishi. Follow with Jormuntide Ignis to amplify all damage against Burning foes, then layer in Majex and Flaracle to spread constant area damage and devastating explosions. Slotting in Wixen boosts your own attack power, making this a well-rounded and potent elemental synergy.

I usually start by applying Burn with Renjishi. After that, Jormuntide Ignis boosts all damage against the target, Majex adds continuous flame damage around burning enemies, and Flaracle finishes the combo with powerful explosions. If I want my own weapons to do more work, I swap one slot for Wixen to take advantage of its huge 30% to 50% Attack buff.

Water Partner Skills

Water Partner Skills

Water builds revolve around the Soak status effect, which initially deals modest damage but exponentially increases damage from subsequent Water attacks. This mechanic is especially effective in boss encounters where repeated weak-point hits stack the damage bonus quickly.

Kelpsea increases the Attack of Water Pals by 15% to 30%, while also producing Aquatic Pal Fluids if placed at a Ranch, supporting crafting and resource needs.

At the base, it is also capable of producing Aquatic Pal Fluids if it is assigned to a Ranch.

Gloopie Primo

Gloopie Primo, focused on survivability, boosts Water Pal Defense by 15% to 30%, making your team more durable during sustained battles.

Penking Lux

This increases the weak-point damage caused by both you and your Pals when using Water attacks by 25 to 40 per cent, and the benefit accumulates rapidly if you keep landing headshots or weak-point hits.

Azurobe

Azurobe functions as both mount and combat partner. Mounting Azurobe converts your attacks to Water-elemental and raises your Attack by 5% to 20%, improving mobility and offense.

When you are on horseback, your attacks will be of the Water element, and your Attack will increase by 5% to 20%.

Finsider activates a powerful boost similar to Wixen for Fire builds. Triggering its Partner Skill changes your attacks to Water type and grants a significant Attack increase of 30% to 50%, amplifying your damage potential.

When you activate your Partner Skill, your attacks will turn into Water type, and you will receive a substantial increase in Attack of between 30% and 50%.

Ophydia

Ophydia initiates the Water combo by applying Soak (2 to 6) with each attack, setting the stage for enhanced damage from your Water team.

Every attack adds Soak (2 to 6). This makes enemies more vulnerable to stronger attacks that come next.

Jormuntide

Jormuntide serves as the damage powerhouse in Soak compositions, boosting damage to Soaked enemies by an impressive 50% to 65%, making it essential against tougher foes.

This increases the amount of damage done to enemies who are Soaked by 50 to 65 per cent, which makes a noticeable difference when facing more difficult targets.

Ghangler

Ghangler is a water-type mount that speeds up as your party expands, gaining 5% to 25% Movement Speed for everyone with Fire or Water Pals, making it ideal for rapid travel and combat synergy in mixed teams.
