TheGamesEdgeJuly 22, 20263 min read

Funnel Runners presents a diverse set of achievements that challenge players to engage deeply with its survival mechanics. Many unlock naturally through gameplay, but some demand precise actions or luck with dynamic weather events, making them memorable milestones in your journey.

All achievements are here with the most straightforward strategies to earn them. Additionally, you'll find details on unlockable uniforms, their perks, the state of the Apex Bunker, and community insights that can shave hours off your completion time.

It's critical to note which achievements don't track properly in multiplayer, as some require you to be the host or to play solo to register correctly, helping you avoid frustration during co-op sessions.

Funnel Runners All Achievements Guide

Basic Achievements

Tire-d

Objective: Change four flat tires on the van.

You need to find and replace four flat tires throughout your runs. The repair procedure always follows a fixed sequence.

  1. Locate a scissor jack.
  2. Position it next to the flat tire.
  3. Use the Toolbox to remove the damaged tire.
  4. Find a replacement tire nearby.
  5. Install the new tire onto the van.

If you forget any step, instructions are posted inside the van for quick reference during emergency repairs.

First Day Star

Objective: Complete a repair minigame for the first time.

Succeed in any repair minigame without failing a skill check. This achievement can be earned on your very first match.

First Day Fail

Objective: Fail a repair minigame for the first time.

Simply miss a skill check during a repair once and the achievement unlocks immediately.

Worst Mechanic

Objective: Fail a repair minigame 15 times.

Fail skill checks repeatedly—repairs and crowbar door breaks use the same mechanism. 15 total failures will unlock this, which usually happens naturally after some matches.

Expect some frustration as skill checks can be tricky at first, but persistence pays off and happens organically.

Not This Time

Objective: Fail to escape the city for the first time.

Die before managing to leave the city to unlock this straightforward but humbling achievement.

Lone Wolf

Lone Wolf

Objective: Escape the final tornado alone.

Repair the van and flee the city as the last surviving player. Playing solo is the simplest route to this achievement—complete repairs, start the van, and escape before the devastating F5 tornado arrives.

You’ll hear the tornado siren between roughly 0.3 to 0.4 km before the tornado reaches the city, signaling it’s time to get moving.

Multiplayer is possible too: after cooperative repairs, remove other players before escaping alone.

First Escape!

First Escape!

Objective: Escape the final tornado for the first time.

Successfully repair the van and leave the city before the F5 tornado arrives. Surviving previous, smaller tornadoes is far easier than this climatic challenge.

Take cover behind sturdy objects like large trees, the van itself, or inside buildings with solid roofs, as these shield against the tornado’s deadly pull.

Beware of falling debris and structural damage; the van is relatively safe but not immune, with the driver's seat offering the best protection. Also, if the building roof tears off, you risk being flung outside into fatal danger.

Walker I
  • Tornadoes can damage buildings while you’re inside.
  • Falling debris can knock you down and deal damage.
  • The van is not completely safe, although the driver’s seat provides the best protection.
  • A tornado can easily rip the roof off a building. If that happens, it may pull you outside and kill you instantly.

Walker I

Objective: Walk 10 km.

Simply explore the map on foot; distance accumulates over time toward this milestone.

Walker II

Objective: Walk 50 km.

Keep playing to rack up a total of 50 kilometers walked across multiple sessions.

Walker III

Objective: Walk 100 km.

Reaching 100 km takes time but is effortless with regular gameplay and exploration.

Little Treat

Objective: Buy your first item from the vending machine.

Once you’ve collected Apex Tokens, purchase any item from the vending machine inside the van to unlock this achievement.

Big Spender

Big Spender

Objective: Spend 100 Apex Tokens.

Big Spender II

Objective: Spend 500 Apex Tokens.

Big Spender III

Objective: Spend 1,000 Apex Tokens.

Use the tokens earned exploring the city to buy supplies like bandages and medkits from the vending machine, progressing through these spending tiers.

Keep in mind, if you remove the van’s battery without a spare ready, the vending machine will lose power and won’t be usable until the battery is replaced.

  • Bandages
  • Medkits
  • Other essential survival gear

Gather Apex Tokens by exploring and looting the city’s environment.

Current Bug: These spending achievements may not track for multiplayer players who are not the host. For consistent progress, play solo or host the game.

Scavenger I

Scavenger I

Objective: Collect 100 items.

Scavenger II

Objective: Collect 250 items.

Scavenger III

Objective: Collect 500 items.

Picking up virtually any item counts toward these achievements—whether health supplies, vehicle parts, or mission-related objects.

Gather health pills, bandages, spare tires, batteries, and other collected items to boost your tally.

The quickest method is to grab every item you see, drop what you don’t need, and repeat as you roam.

Apex Tokens might also count, though that hasn't been verified; collecting them anyway helps your economy regardless.

Current Bug: As with other achievements, item collection tracking can fail in non-host multiplayer sessions. Hosting or solo play ensures progress is properly counted.

Historian I

Historian I

Objective: Collect 10 information collectibles.

Historian II

Objective: Collect 50 information collectibles.

Historian III

Objective: Collect 100 information collectibles.

These achievements require finding specific lore-related items around the map.

Search for Apex Documents, Apex Tapes, and newspaper-style records to enrich your understanding of the world.

  • Apex Documents
  • Apex Tapes
  • Newspaper-style documents

To count, collectibles must be placed inside the van's cardboard box. Simply collecting them won’t update progress until stored.

You don’t have to finish your match or escape the tornado for the collectible to register once placed, letting you focus on completion at your own pace.

Weather plays a dramatic role in Funnel Runners, creating intense moments and unlocking rare achievements. Some unlock naturally; others rely heavily on chance.

High Up

Objective: Get caught by a tornado for the first time.

Eventually, a tornado will grab you. Simply being lifted by one is enough; surviving is not necessary.

Electrified

Objective: Get struck by lightning for the first time.

This achievement is based on luck. Stay outside during thunderstorms and keep playing until lightning hits you.

There is no guaranteed way to force a lightning strike, so patience is essential.

On Fire

Objective: Take fire damage for the first time.

Lightning can ignite nearby objects like trees or trash cans, setting them ablaze during thunderstorms.

Standing close to a burning object until you take fire damage will unlock this achievement.

Note that fire spreads between players if one is burning, so beware clustering too tightly.

The Suck Zone

Objective: Throw a dart into a large tornado without it falling to the ground.

Grab a dart from the cup next to the dartboard inside the van.

When a large tornado approaches, throw the dart directly into it right before it pulls you in.

You can survive this feat, but sacrificing your character for an easier throw is often the practical approach.

Mary Poppins

Objective: Get caught by a tornado while holding an umbrella.

Find and carry an umbrella, then let a tornado drag you away.

No special preparation is needed; the tornado's pull is strong enough to reach you easily.

Benjamin, Who?

Objective: Avoid lightning damage by holding a Portable Conductor when lightning strikes you.

This achievement is one of the rarest and most luck-dependent.

Carry a Portable Conductor during a thunderstorm and wait for lightning to hit you. No reliable trick exists to guarantee this, so be prepared for multiple attempts.

Co-op Achievements

Some achievements require collaboration with at least one other player, emphasizing teamwork in dangerous circumstances.

Dead? Me?

Objective: Get revived after passing out.

When you collapse, a teammate must revive you using a Defibrillator to unlock this achievement. Communication and timely aid are key.

Ask a teammate to revive you with a Defibrillator after you collapse.
