Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave stands out with its densely populated city of Dagison, offering players one of the largest rosters in the series. Among its many characters, Sirocco—Leda’s charismatic first party member—draws interest for his availability beyond his original route. Gaining this roguish ally on routes like Theodora's requires a specific set of conditions, making his recruitment a must-know for versatile party building.

How to Recruit Sirocco in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave

Sirocco’s availability shifts depending on which protagonist you are playing, ensuring that your party composition feels fresh with each route. While some can secure his loyalty early, others must invest effort over time. Understanding these conditions is key to bringing him onto your team.

Not surprisingly, Sirocco favors some routes more than others. Theodora’s charm and lower thresholds mean she can recruit him with minimal support and reputational investment. Cai and Dietrich face a tougher climb to win Sirocco over, needing higher support and renown before he even notices them.

Even Theodora, who has the easiest time persuading Sirocco, must complete a side quest he assigns. This ‘Sirocco’s Request’ involves tracking down a lost piece of literature, which marks a final step in convincing him to join your party.

The quest item, called the Monument Verse, lies in Atla Peak, in the northwest corner near the village of Da Mina. Approaching Atla Peak requires caution: your first visit must come from the Niiza Port side, not directly from Da Mina, or you won’t gain entry.

Interestingly, Cai’s attempt to complete this quest stumbles because he can’t bypass Atla Peak’s gates without prior progress from another route. This unusual restriction means early Cai players will have to explore other protagonists before unlocking this area for Sirocco recruitment.

Once you retrieve the Monument Verse from Atla Peak, return it to Sirocco. He’ll immediately commit to your team, bringing his valuable ability to restore 5 HP after combat—a boon worth having regardless of your current route.
