In Beast of Reincarnation, early survival leans heavily on your companion Koo, especially since healing items are scarce at the start. Thankfully, tracking down Dragon Vein Shrines scattered throughout the game world helps you create extra healing stimpacks. Unlocking these shrines lightens Koo's load and can be a lifesaver during tough encounters, though some shrines are easy to miss without a keen eye.
All Dragon Vein Shrine Locations in Beast of Reincarnation
There are 40 Dragon Vein Shrines dotted across the various stages in Beast of Reincarnation. Activating your first shrine grants an additional stimpack for in-combat healing. Beyond that, each subsequent stimpack upgrade requires visiting ten more shrines. Achieving the full stimpack upgrade demands finding every shrine the game has to offer.
Below are detailed locations for every shrine, organized by zone. A quick note: the starting area, the Ogouchi Buffer Zone, contains no Dragon Vein Shrines.
Ancient Civilization Zone Shrine Locations
This zone has just three shrines placed in distinct spots for players to discover.
Shrine 1
Find the first shrine atop a cliff near the entrance to the Ancient Civilization Zone. Its elevated position makes it visible from nearby paths.
Shrine 2
Head east of the area’s first campfire to locate this shrine inside the Reservoir section.
Shrine 3
Just past the Reservoir, look to the east of the main path and you'll find this shrine perched on a cliffside.
The Great Wall Terraces Shrines
The Great Wall Terraces is packed with eight shrines, prompting players to explore every corner.
Shrine 1
Right from the start of the stage, this shrine sits directly ahead on the ground level.
Shrine 2
Locate this shrine tucked away in the bottom left corner of the map.
Shrine 3
After facing the Ushi boss for the first time, climb the cliffs to the left of the arena. You’ll discover a new campfire and a shrine waiting there.
Shrine 4
This shrine stands on the eastern side beyond a bridge, surrounded by aggressive enemies, so prepare for a fight before you can activate it.
Shrine 5
Next to the Flower Square: Forefront campfire, this shrine is impossible to overlook.
Shrine 6
On the map’s western side, use Emma's hair ability to scale tall stone buildings and reach this elevated shrine.
Shrine 7
Hidden inside a warehouse near the map’s northwest edge, this shrine requires some exploration.
Shrine 8
Find this shrine floating on a large river rock at the map’s center.
Pilgrim’s Zone Shrines
Featuring seven shrines, many lie within a cave system, challenging navigation skills.
Shrine 1
On a ledge east of the stage’s entrance, this shrine is guarded by rats but they’re an easy obstacle to clear.
Shrine 2
Travel through the cave’s main path on the east to encounter this shrine.
Shrine 3
Near the previous shrine, find a crawlable hole leading to a hidden room with another shrine.
Shrine 4
At the west side inside the Stone Chamber Interior, near the end of the cave segment, lies this shrine.
Shrine 5
Create a bridge using Emma’s hair from the Stone Chamber’s western exterior wall to reach this cliffside shrine.
Shrine 6
Near the main road’s start through the stage, this shrine sits in a less-traveled area you might have bypassed.
Shrine 7
Southeast of Nushi’s lair on a cliffside, find this final shrine in the Pilgrim’s Zone.
Matsukawa Zone Shrines
With nine shrines, the Matsukawa Zone offers the highest concentration of these healing spots.
Shrine 1
Placed prominently on the story's main path, this shrine is hard to miss.
Shrine 2
Just south of the first shrine’s location, find another on a nearby ledge.
Shrine 3
Drop down from the ledge to a ruined house on the ground where this shrine awaits.
Shrine 4
Behind a door near the top of the upper Matsukawa colony, this shrine is guarded by an elite foe. Defeat them to gain access.
Shrine 5
Look above the Upper Matsukawa Colony (Interior) campfire atop a wooden structure for this shrine.
Shrine 6
This shrine sits inside the Upper Matsukawa Colony, in a room accessible only after defeating all arena enemies to unlock the door.
Shrine 7
Found on a rotating cylinder in the colony’s center, you’ll need Emma’s hair abilities to navigate vertically and reach it.
Shrine 8
Two levels higher on the same rotating cylinder, continue climbing with Emma’s hair to access this shrine.
Shrine 9
Near the colony’s top northeast section, a room contains this shrine guarded by an elite headless golem and two standard golems.
Fuji Frontier Zone Shrines
With only five shrines, the Fuji Frontier Zone allows a break from frantic searching.
Shrine 1
Right at the stage’s start, this shrine is impossible to miss.
Shrine 2
Guarded by four enemies, this shrine sits squarely on the stage’s main path.
Shrine 3
On a ledge near the Defense Outpost: Outskirts campfire, reach this shrine by using Emma’s hair to jump onto a tree, then leap again. Be wary of enemy archers during your approach.
Shrine 4
Cross the pathway adjacent to the Defense Outpost: Interior campfire to find this shrine, which is guarded by an elite enemy.
Shrine 5
After reaching the Defense Outpost: Wall campfire, turn back and jump down the cliff to a wooden platform hosting a shrine and a Keeper Golem.
Giant Tree Zone Shrines
Navigating this zone is trickier, but it contains only four shrines.
Shrine 1
Inside a ruined building near the Ruined Tower campfire, access this shrine by grappling onto nearby trolleys and entering through a window to reach the bottom floor.
Shrine 2
Just south of Giant Tree: Feeding Ground campfire, this shrine sits on the ground nearby.
Shrine 3
A Curious Golem will assign a quest to ride cable cars climbing north in the map. From the Cableway – Line 2: Peak A campfire, head left to a jumpable pit that leads to another shrine.
