AION 2 Listing Pending Guide - Market Status Explained

TheGamesEdgeOctober 13, 20263 min read

Seeing your item stuck on "Listing pending" in AION 2’s marketplace can be a head-scratcher, especially when you’re eager to sell quickly. This limbo isn’t a bug or a lost sale—it’s just the way the game processes your listing. Understanding this status helps prevent wasted fees and unnecessary panic during those crucial market moments.

You list an item on the AION 2 Market and the game hits you with “Listing pending…” Then nothing happens. I’d panic too. But relax, because your item isn’t sold or deleted. It just isn’t live yet. NC hasn’t published a timer for it, so I’ll cover what players have actually seen and what not to do before you burn Kina on a relist. Everything below is current as of October 13, 2026.

The "Listing pending" status means your item has been registered on the market but isn’t visible or active for sale yet. You’ll find this notification under Main Menu > Market > List after confirming the sale. It’s basically the game's way of saying your request is in queue before going live. This status doesn't imply your item is sold, deleted, or glitched. It’s a neutral state, not a penalty or flag on your account, though the vague wording understandably causes some concern.

The Market has your sale, but it isn’t fully active yet.

Once you confirm a listing, the game tells you the item was registered but could take some time to become effective. Open Main Menu > Market > List, and you’ll see “Listing pending…” next to it. That’s the whole status.

It doesn’t mean the item sold, got deleted, or glitched out. NC also hasn’t said it’s a penalty or a flag on your account. The wording is vague enough that I get why people freak out, though.

Players typically experience a waiting period of 5 to 30 minutes before their item listing becomes active, although this can vary. During this time, your item isn’t available to buyers yet, which might lead to frustration, especially as undercutting happens in real time. Contrary to some beliefs, the marketplace does not hold listings for 72 hours—this longer timer relates to a different system entirely.

Most players have reported being stuck here for 5 to 30 minutes! Although that can be more or less for you. The wait can cost you. Players on Reddit say items get undercut while they sit in limbo. And no, it isn’t 72 hours. That number belongs to a different system, which I cover below.

What to Do While Your Listing Is Pending

While waiting, it’s tempting to cancel and relist immediately, but patience pays off. Logging out and back in can refresh your display if something seems off. Use the downtime to double-check your listing details rather than rushing to reset.

Check the Right Tab

Misreading the Market UI leads to many panics that items disappeared. The market has several tabs, so make sure you’re looking in the right place. Navigate to Main Menu > Market and explore:

  • List: Shows active and pending listings, capped at 10 items.
  • Settlement: Tracks sold items needing collection — those show a red marker for claiming Kina.
  • Settlement Details: Your recent completed sales history.

Also, cancelled items return through Select and Retrieve on the List tab. Items involving Kina Chests go through the Exchange, not Market, so watch for that UI toggle.

  • List: your active and pending sales, capped at 10.
  • Settlement: sold items show a red marker here. Click it or press F to claim your Kina.
  • Settlement Details: your finished sales history.

Cancelled items come back through Select and Retrieve on the List tab. Selling a Kina Chest? That goes through the Exchange, not the Market. Use the switch in the upper-left corner.

Don’t Cancel and Relist

Resisting the urge to cancel and relist is critical. The moment you list an item, a registration fee is drawn and isn’t refunded upon cancellation. Relisting charges the fee again, rapidly eating through your Kina. For example, listing a 71,775 Kina item costs about 1,435 Kina in fees—that’s nearly 2%!

This means every cancel/relist doubles costs without speeding up your pending time. Only cancel if you've made a real pricing mistake.

The registration fee is charged the moment you list, and the game says cancelling or relisting won’t refund it. Resale Selection charges a fresh fee on top. For example, the fee on a 71,775 Kina listing is 1,435 Kina, roughly 2%! It came out of bound Kina first, so it can quietly eat the funds you can’t spend on the Market anyway.

That’s one test on one server, so your exact fee may differ. Either way, every relist is a paid reset on a wait you can’t speed up. Leave it alone unless the price is genuinely wrong.

Listing Pending vs Pending Quna

A common confusion comes from mixing up "Listing pending" with "Pending Quna." The latter is a currency-state delay where Quna becomes spendable after 72 hours, unrelated to the Market listing process.

Because these look similar on screen and use close terms, it’s easy to get them mixed, but they function independently. "Listing pending" deals with item sales; "Pending Quna" deals with currency availability.

Pending Quna is a currency state. Per Global client data (version 2.0.6.0), it becomes Paid Quna after a 72-hour wait. You’ll see it marked in red in your currency info. I hit it when a 600 Quna appearance edit was blocked even though my balance looked high enough.

That timer has nothing to do with items you list for Kina. The names are close and the screens look similar, so it’s easy to mix them up. Honestly, NC could have picked a different word.

Why Is My Listing Pending

Why exactly listings get stuck pending isn’t clearly disclosed by NC. Many suspect it’s part of anti-bot and anti-fraud measures. The game has a Trust Level indicator tied to your Kina account activity, influencing daily limits to deter abuse.

In early October 2026, NC banned thousands of accounts for infractions like gold farming and real-money trading, showing how seriously they monitor Market activity. A pending listing doesn't mean you’re flagged, but purchasing currency outside official means certainly can threaten your account.

The anti-bot machinery is real. Global has a Trust Level next to your Kina, and players report its tooltip affects your daily purchase and settlement limits. On October 10, NC also restricted 4,996 accounts for gold farming, bots, real-money trading and abnormal trade patterns.

But a pending listing doesn’t mean you’re flagged. What can cost you the account is buying Kina or Quna from third-party sellers. NC says that violates the Terms of Service.

Sold But No Kina Received

If your item sold but your Kina hasn’t appeared yet, you need to manually claim your payment. Open the Settlement tab or press F to collect your proceeds. Expect about 88% of your asking price after the 10% sale tax and listing fee deduction — so don’t be alarmed if it’s less than your listed amount.

Sometimes players report not receiving Kina even after claiming. In that case, relogging won’t help, and the best step is contacting customer support.

Sold items don’t pay out automatically. Open the Settlement tab (or press F) and claim the total. Expect less than your asking price. On the 71,775 Kina sale, the payout was 64,597 Kina after the 10% sale tax. With the registration fee, that’s about 88% of the sale price.

If you claimed it and still got nothing, you’re not alone. Several Reddit players reported the same thing, and a relog didn’t help them. The best approach here is to contact support (next section).

Last Resort: Contact NC Support

When your listing remains stuck well beyond the reported 5 to 30 minutes, and you can’t find your item in any market tab, it’s time to contact NC support. The same goes if you’ve sold items but the earned Kina never shows up after multiple attempts.

Include these details to speed up your ticket:

  • Item name and quantity
  • Server and character name
  • Exact time of listing
  • The current text/status your listing shows
  • Screenshots of List, Retrieve, and Settlement tabs

Send support the details up front so they don’t have to ask:

  • Item name and quantity
  • Server and character name
  • Time you registered the sale
  • The exact status text you see
  • Screenshots of the List, Retrieve, and Settlement tabs

That’s everything I found on AION 2 Listing Pending. Do you know a fix I missed? Write it in the comments below.

FAQ

Active Market listings, items waiting for collection, or unsettled sale proceeds will block your server transfer attempts. Make sure all your sales are fully processed and Kina collected before initiating a transfer.

Yes. NC’s October 9 notice says active listings, items waiting for collection, and unpaid sale proceeds all block a transfer. Clear all three first.

Can I trade directly with a friend instead?

Direct player-to-player trades are disabled in the global version of AION 2, a move by NC to combat bots and unfair market practices. Using the Market remains the only official, supported trading method in the game.

Is the World Market live?

The World Market feature isn’t live yet. As of mid-October 2026, only the per-server Market is available with no announced date for a global cross-server marketplace.
