The Raccoon Collector achievement challenges players to locate 10 hidden Raccoon Statues spread throughout the game world. While some statues are tucked away behind structures or cleverly camouflaged, many sit out in plain sight, requiring just a keen eye. Tracking these down adds an enjoyable layer of exploration that spices up your journey through A Game About Chopping Trees, especially if you want to fully complete your playthrough.
Knowing exactly where each Raccoon Statue lies can save you from wandering the expansive map repeatedly. This article pinpoints every location, helping you claim the Raccoon Collector achievement without the usual frustration of hunting blindly.
Note: Some reference images were captured post-collection, so statues might not appear in screenshots, but their locations remain constant regardless.
All Raccoon Collector Locations
1. Broken Waterwheel (Birch Grove)

Start by visiting the broken waterwheel close to the Birch Grove house.
Circle around to the back of the waterwheel. There, the first Raccoon Statue waits, partially obscured but easy to spot once you know where to look.
2. Cannon (Birch Grove)
Still in Birch Grove, locate the old cannon.
The second Raccoon Statue is positioned right in front of the cannon, making it one of the more straightforward collectibles to find.
3. Tree Stump Near the Coffee Machine (Oak Forest)

Head over to Oak Forest and find the coffee machine.
Check the tree stump immediately to the left of the machine. The third Raccoon Statue rests atop it, blending unusually well with the environment.
This location often trips up players because the statue’s camouflage makes it easy to overlook.
4. Communications Tower (Oak Forest)
Near the Oak Forest house stands a communications tower worth inspecting.
Venture behind the tower, where the fourth Raccoon Statue hides somewhat out of plain sight.
5. Cart Left of the Oak Forest House

From the communications tower, walk straight left until you reach a wooden cart.
The fifth Raccoon Statue is tucked inside this cart, typically easy to miss if you don’t explore thoroughly.
Keep moving left from the tower to find it without backtracking.
6. Snowman (Dark Forest)6. Snowman (Dark Forest)

Journey to the Dark Forest and locate the snowman.
Strike the snowman with your axe or chainsaw to expose the sixth Raccoon Statue concealed within its structure.
7. Upgrade Bench (Dark Forest House)7. Upgrade Bench (Dark Forest House)

8. Handcart Near the Final Spruce (Dark Forest)8. Handcart Near the Final Spruce (Dark Forest)

Find the final spruce tree located deep in the Dark Forest.
Nearby, the handcart has a barrier end closest to the tree. Inspect this carefully to uncover the eighth Raccoon Statue.
9. Half-Sunken Dock (Path to the Lighthouse)9. Half-Sunken Dock (Path to the Lighthouse)
Follow the path leading from Oak Forest to the Lighthouse.
Before arriving at the Lighthouse, you’ll notice a small half-sunken dock stretching into the water.
The ninth statue is embedded in one of the dock posts facing the sea, a spot players often pass without a second glance.
This collectible is one of the easiest to overlook, so make sure to pause and check the dock carefully.
10. Lighthouse Exterior

At the Lighthouse itself, walk around the building’s outside to the left side.
There lies the tenth and final Raccoon Statue, completing your collection.

My Personal Tips for Finding Every Raccoon Statue
- Gather statues as you traverse each area to avoid extra backtracking.
- Always peek behind buildings, towers, and large objects; several statues like to hide there.
- Don’t skip the half-sunken dock on your way to the Lighthouse because it’s commonly missed.
- Be sure to break the Dark Forest snowman with your axe or chainsaw to reveal the hidden statue inside.
