Lore
Phantom Realm Overview
The Phantom Realm is a turbulent, ever-shifting world.
Set in a timeless, fictional realm rooted in Chinese Wuxia and infused with steampunk grit, this dark realm sees factions flare and die like fireworks, while fleeting lives vanish on the wind amidst endless sorrow.
The full breadth of the Phantom Realm remains uncharted. To the east stretches a boundless ocean; to the north lie frozen wastes and glacial seas; westwards, an ancient road cuts into barren deserts; and to the south simmer restless volcanoes and desolate mires. How far this world truly extends, none can say.
Much like the wider martial world, the fertile coastal flats and central plains of the Phantom Realm boast prosperous towns and renowned righteous sects. In stark contrast, its forgotten borderlands lie desolate, where everyday essentials are as precious as gold and cutthroat outlaws eke out a brutal living on the edge of a blade.

Preternatural powers transcending conventional martial arts, encompassing Ghost Warden Arts, Sha-Qi body modifications, and more.
Machinery Craft
Mechanical craftsmanship championed by the Ying and Qianshou families, capable of assembling massive automata and airships.
Machinery
Steampunk machinery fuses with ancient Chinese automaton engineering to forge a distinct industrial civilization.

- Ghost Messenger Arts: The foundational sorcery of the Order, fusing arcane arts with strange technology to resurrect corpses into invulnerable 'living dead' bound in absolute obedience to their master.
- Sha-Qi Modification: A mechanical body-modification process that fuels the host with an inexhaustible torrent of Sha-Qi, though inevitably costing them their sanity.
