The Order
The Order Overview
The Order is the central power of the narrative; the entire franchise chronicles its rise, internal struggles, and impact across a tumultuous era of the martial world.
The Order is known simply as "The Order"—it bears no other name. Feared throughout the realm, it is the most secretive and lethal syndicate in existence. No one knows the true origins of its agents, as entering The Order completely wipes away one's past.
The Order's governing council consists of seven Emissaries—shadowy, peerless warriors unknown to outsiders, unlike the renowned figures of Shaolin, Wudang, or the Seven Great Sword Sects. Beneath this inner circle lies a rigid hierarchy, supported by the technological R&D of the Snake House and the Nether Soldiers serving as frontline troops.
Location
- Headquarters: Situated in a border town within the Central Forbidden Lands, known as "The Compound".
- Key Branch: False Western Paradise in Yecheng, home to various enigmatic research facilities.
Philosophy
- On the surface: Fighting violence with violence, resorting to cold-blooded assassinations to preserve balance throughout the martial realm.
- Reality: Master Mu Tianmiao harbors far grander ambitions, treating every member of the Order as mere pawns.
- Modus Operandi: Mysterious, ruthless, and efficient, leaving not a trace behind.
