Born in the thirteenth year of The Order, Lei Dang was assigned upon joining to serve under 'Dark Wound', who was then the adopted son of The Order's Master.Soul's banner. Because Lei Dang and SoulBoth being men who held honor and loyalty above all else, their relationship soon blossomed far beyond that of superior and subordinate into a profound bond of brotherhood.

In Year 30 of The Order, amid relentless turbulence across the Southern Martial World, the Master resolved to dispatch...SoulandZuo ShangDispatched to reconnoiter Luocheng in the heart of the Southern Martial World with Mortal Envoys securing the crossroads, Lei Dang was secretly approached by the Nether Lord and handed a covert task: pose as a simpleton named 'A'fu' and infiltrate the reinforcements heading for the Southern Pagoda.SoulandZuo ShangEmbedded within their squad of human emissaries, they kept a vigilant eye on every member's actions, awaiting the right moment to strike.

During the Boar hour on July 14, Lei Dang accompanied the group to the summit of the pagoda to face its master, the monk Dao Sha. Yet right then,SoulandZuo ShangAfter the duo joined forces to topple Dao Sha, their support emissary Ku Hai suddenly pumped a surge of Sha-Qi back into Dao Sha's body, sending him into another wild frenzy. Recognizing the dire peril, Lei Dang held nothing back; he struck Dao Sha down and sealed the descent route, thwarting Ku Hai's escape. On the fifteenth day of the seventh lunar month, Lei Dang boarded the Mirage airship with his allies to destroy it, afterward returning to the Order to report their success.

In Year 31 of The Order, as the grotesque Masked Chaos swept across the Phantom Realm, the Master assigned Lei Dang a new objective. Local gangs in Desolate City had approached The Order's Black Snake House branch with a massive bounty, seeking help to crush the rapidly rising Bureau of Rectitude. Accepting the contract, Lei Dang set out for Desolate City.

In Desolate City, Lei Dang met his client, Bie Yingzong, and joined forces with the arrivingSoul...rendezvoused. Combining forces against the Shouzhengsi, the pair followed Bie Yingzong's scheme and detonated explosives that leveled the headquarters, consigning leader Ban Yuehua and their lieutenant to a fiery grave. Days later, Lei Dang andSoulParting ways with Bie Yingzong, the pair set off to return to the Order.

In Year 40 of The Order, word arrived that the Master had fallen, and succeeding the seat of power...Zuo Shangshockingly claimed the Order's Master was murdered bySoulmurdered, immediately ordering all members of "The Order" to hunt downSoul.
