Quests in Phantom Blade Zero encompass the missions and narrative threads available during a playthrough, split into Main Quests and Side Quests. Main Quests form the core linear narrative driving the overarching plot toward a playthrough's conclusion. Meanwhile, Side Quests present optional storylines that grant valuable character-progression rewards, such as unique weaponry, distinctive accessories, and key upgrade materials.
