In Year 12 of The Order, perished alongside younger brother Long Wu in mutual destruction at Xinglong Manor.

Ability Profile

Hailed as the most martial-minded prodigy among the clan's Nine Scions, Long Yijue re-engineered her golden sword-qi to absorb rival Sha-Qi, laying the groundwork for her signature stance: Cold Star Sword Shadow.

Cold Star Sword Shadow

By channeling her power, Long Yijue crystallizes her sword-qi into a gravitational core with an immense affinity for Sha-Qi, drawing in anything around her that exudes killing intent. Around this epicenter she summons a tempest of golden sword-qi, trapping drawn-in foes within a lethal, swirling vortex of blades.

The moment the central crystal destabilizes, Long Yijue shatters it into a barrage of golden sword projections, blasting foes backward while riddling them through with relentless blades of energy.

Background & History

In Youth

As the second-born daughter of the Long Clan's direct bloodline, Long Yijue lived by an uncompromising creed: only the mighty earn the right to power, wealth, and supreme prestige.

Blessed with extraordinary martial prodigy, she stood second only to the branch-born Long Mingyu among her peers, while outmatching every other fighter across the contemporary martial realm. Widely hailed as the realm's foremost female warrior, Long Er seemed destined to claim Clan Long's coveted command token in due time.

Until the birth of Long Wu, the fifth son of the elder patriarch Long Tairan.

Ever since he took up martial arts, Long Wu exhibited extraordinary talent, even if his attainments still lagged behind Long Er's. Yet Long Er could clearly sense that Long Tairan poured attention and resources into Long Wu far beyond anyone else of their generation, laying bare who the patriarch truly favored as successor. Even so, Long Yijue remained unfazed, convinced that only pure strength mattered—and that the leadership mantle belonged solely to the truly mighty.

Upheaval

Ascending to the heights is ever a brutal, lonely path—and the further one travels upon it, the more one comes to mirror its cold severity. Long Yijue knows this all too well.

Yet when death silently crept within arm's reach, she still felt a shudder of terror. The pastries served by a trusted confidant of years hid a lethal poison; had she not casually broken off a piece for her beloved mastiff, she would have perished right then and there.

Her poisoned hound whimpered and twitched violently at her feet; to spare it further agony, she snapped its neck with her bare hands.

Warmth and life had vanished from her fingertips in a heartbeat. Such was her path: in a pitiless world, only unsparing swiftness and ruthless might can command fate—a road cold, cruel, and profoundly solitary.

It was while burying her mastiff that Long Yijue encountered Long Xing, her ninth and youngest brother. Though gifted in martial arts, he was an oddity among the main clan line who shunned the spotlight. Perhaps his expression was too transparent, or perhaps his gaze felt unnervingly familiar—resembling the begging eyes of her fallen hound. On an impulse, she confided in him deeply, sharing her views on clan affairs, insights into martial arts, and her towering ambitions.

Foremost of the Righteous

Though her combat strength fell shy of Long Mingyu's, Long Yijue stood as the paramount talent of the new direct lineage, and her standing gave her far greater diplomatic sway during negotiations between the clan and the righteous sects.

Her methods diverged sharply from Long Wu, who rallied the realm through virtue and fairness. Long Yijue commanded absolute obedience through crushing strength and iron-fisted ruthlessness, convinced that Long Wu's soft-hearted mercy and sparing punishments brought nothing but ruin to the modern Long Clan.

During that era, decay and rigid complacency had begun rotting the martial arts world from within, as leaders of renowned righteous sects clung to their titles and ruthlessly crushed dissent. Long Wu's persistent benevolence struck Long Yijue as dangerous naivety—a weakness that bled the Long family's prestige, infected their noble bloodline with the stench of bureaucratic ruin, and dragged them into the mire of petty squabbles.

Convinced that putting Clan Long's welfare above all else was the only true path, her ruthless resolve and shrewd calculation won over an ardent following: mainstream sects awed by her daring, wanderers who worshiped raw might, and kin dedicated to family dominance.

Clan Feud

In Year 10 of The Order, Patriarch Long Tairan met a baffling end, sending shockwaves through the clan. Long Wu stepped forward to claim he would unmask the truth and inherit leadership, relocating to his private estate at Xinglong Manor for the inquiry. Long Yijue soon realized her fifth brother was framing her as their father's murderer, with his followers openly voicing accusations. Though completely innocent, she knew she had to strike first before his fabricated narrative destroyed her.

In Year 12 of The Order, Dark Demon Fortress fell to The Order. Long Yijue foresaw that the Long clan was next, yet its nine heirs were bitterly divided. Fearing Long Wu would exploit an outside invasion to eliminate her, she resolved to settle domestic rivalries first. She allied with the fourth son, Long Lie—who harbored an old vendetta against Long Wu—and her loyal sibling Long Jiu, backing them with her private deathsworn while forging a secret pact with The Order to crush Long Wu's faction once and for all.

Long Yijue showed ruthless cunning in countering Long Mingyu's peerless martial prowess, adopting a 'divide and conquer' stratagem to draw her targets out. By planting clues regarding the sudden demise of the old clan patriarch at Dark Devil Castle, she baited either Long Mingyu or Long Wu to investigate. Xinglong Manor was the seat of Long Wu's faction, making it unthinkable for both to leave it unguarded. Long Yijue and the Order had already laid ambushes across the fortress ruins, waiting to spring the trap while simultaneously launching a coordinated raid on the manor.

Just as anticipated, Long Mingyu took the bait once the rumor spread and ventured into Castle Demonia alone. Seizing the opening, Long Yijue rallied Long Si, Long Jiu, and an elite band of sworn deathsworn on a rainy night to storm Xinglong Manor, aiming to wipe out Long Wu and his wife once and for all.

Despite all calculated schemes and the absence of Long Mingyu—the premier warrior of the clan—away from Xinglong Manor, Long Wu seized an opening through Long Xing to expose Long Yijue's fatal flaw. The peerless prodigy fell short at the final hurdle, perishing in the battle of Xinglong Manor.

Phantom Blade 3

Amid the renewed uprising of the Five Fingers in Year 38 of The Order, the syndicate attempted to summon the consciousness of fallen martial masters back into the living world. Through their dark arts, Long Yijue was successfully revived within the Shadow Wulin—this time calculating every move to ensure ultimate triumph.
